That Fleeting Glimmer

This glimmer of light showed up at the end of the painting window for a larger plein air piece. A detail of something bigger. It is the sort of moment I usually see but don't manage to paint because by the time I set up it's gone. But this time I was already set up so I was able to catch it in multiple sessions. I just love it when the light breaks through the outlines of the form or the shadows consume the expected boundaries.
