Consider the Lilies

This painting was created from a pot of lilies that were given to me. I love the morning light and so I captured the lilies with the morning light from my kitchen window. They seemed to glow with light and life with out a care. The title was taken from scripture in Matthew 6 where Jesus teaches that we should not worry about our life and things of the world and that hew will take care of us just as he takes care of the "birds of the air" and to "Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they oil not, neither do they spin".
