Rocky Shore

This work was painted entirely plein air over several sessions. This painting depicts one of the most beautiful costal places in the Mediterranean, in Costa Blanca, Spain, looking at the iconic Penon de Ifach and the surrounding sea. The breaking of the waves and the glancing light of the sun over the cliffs created an irresistible interplay of colour and light, that begged to be set on a canvas.
