My Grandmother, Helen’s gift of this satin vase is the inspiration. The emphasis is the smooth surface of the vase, with the flora as secondary. In person the Fine Linen used mimics the surface of the satin glass. I gave myself expressionistic freedom in the background using some oil bar strokes.
