Rain Over the River

Stopped on my way home from painting all day and spotted the storm clouds gathering to the North over the Rappahannock River. Using leftover paint and an extra panel, I crouched under the hatch of my car and quickly captured the clouds across the river with the lovely sliver of blue. I worked downward and put in the far bank and then the river water. I wasn't satisfied with the water and grabbed a rag and wiped back the water and when I looked up again, the dark clouds had appeared overhead. Just as I got them in, the sheets of rain began to fall and with a quick couple of swipes, got them in.
