My first painting In my new studio in Ivins Utah.
My favorite activity since I moved here is to walk around and explore the remote and wild areas of the Southern Utah Desert. 100 yards behind my house are Ancient Pueblo Peoples dwellings. They have left behind hundreds of Petroglyphs, pictographs, tons of pottery shards and I have found many arrowheads. these artifacts seem to say to me - hey, "We Lived Here”
I have always wondered what Life was like for these first people, this is my tribute to those that lived in this beautiful area before me.
It was nice just to throw any research photos out and create this image totally from my imagination .
