Autumn's Drama was inspired by photos I took from my kayak at Sweetwater State Park in Lithia Springs, GA. The vantage is from paddling under the canopy of golden maples as they shed their leaves, and reflecting browns and gold into the water. I used a figurative approach to capture the figurative energy of the moment, and mass of teeming visual textures in the foliage and on the water. I used masking and salt for a variety of effects in the water's surface for drama.
