Unfurling Agave

Who looks into the centers of agaves? Apparently me. My curiosity was satisfied by seeing that the patterns on some types of agave leaves are created by the scallops and thorns of the leaves that wrapped around the deeper leaves before the outer leaves open fully and open outward. Secrets hiding in plain sight at a different angle.
