Aldeburgh Beach, Cloud Study

This is a view of the beach at Aldeburgh, Suffolk, UK on a cloudy day, during a short trip with my wife's family on my mother in law's birthday.

Aldeburgh has a very dramatic light, which was in full effect on this day. I was stood a few hundred metres from the excellent Maggi Hambling sculpture, dedicated to Benjamin Britten, who lived in the town. The scallop shaped sculpture consist of words from Peter Grimes, 'I hear those voices that will not be drowned'.
