Late Afternoon Sun, Green Street

I love this street near my home in Cambridge, UK with its Victorian buildings, bunting and cobbles. It runs west to east so in the afternoon it delivers some beautiful colourful shadows and the sunlight picks out the saturated colours of the bunting. I had a couple of attempts at this one until settling on a raw umber and burnt sienna tonal study with colour added in the final stages.
