Evening Autumn Fields

The afternoons are my most favorite time to paint in the Northwest, because usually a perfectly clear day will draw evening clouds, that is blessed, can capture the last ot the day's sunlight! In this case, it was not the clouds, but this magnificent field reaching back to a small settlement of buildings, that appear as small jewels in the afternoon, hugged by a nearby stand of elegant trees, reaching up, to kiss the clouds of day, good bye!
