Heart on My Sleeve

Heart on my Sleeve expresses the serenity and security produced by having access to fresh drinkable water. Water is a human right. It is also a source of dignity, particularly in far too many places in the world where drinkable water cannot be taken for granted. The painting depicts a young boy washing his hands with clean water at the well near the Faficha Chailaka School in Bensa Ethiopia.
