Silverleaf Nightshade

This is a painting of the Silverleaf Nightshade, a wildflower/weed that grows along the Rio Grande here in New Mexico and down into Mexico (and South America). I was interested in the form of the leaves as much as the flower itself, and in the surrounding grasses and weeds as a subject.
