Untouched

My first Plein Air painting for the Sweetwater County Wyoming Inaugural Plein Air Competition, which took second place. The award juror was a Professor Emeritus of Western Wyoming Community College where one of her duties included the curation for the campus art gallery.
I started painting on rocks with acrylic paints during the summer of 2020. By that fall I was painting portraits on canvas and creating my own backgrounds. I have watched several videos produced by Streamline Art, which have influenced my painting and helped me to make sense of the painting process. Those videos include instruction by Lori McNee, Cindy Baron, Rose Frantzen and Debora Huse.
