Untouched

This is a study I made from a photo I took in preparation for my first Plein Air event in Green River, WY - Thomas Moran country. To my amazement, I placed second. The Plein Air painting sold at the event. My first sale!
I used water based oil paints on a canvas board for my study. I have been learning oil painting since last winter and had hoped to use the medium at the Plein Air event. Two days before the competition I decided to use acrylic paint since I was still more comfortable with that medium.
