The Sister Cottages

This painting was created in the studio from a plein air painting that in created in Truro, MA. I have created a series of paintings of these iconic cottages. I am inspired by the Provincetown area of Cape Cod and spend as much time as possible painting there en plein air. I often use these paintings as reference for larger studio work. This is an example of that process. I would also like to enter this painting in the over 65 category if I am able to submit to more than one. Thanks.
