Done For The Day , Birch Cove Maine

At the start of this painting Unpredictible the Lobster Fishing boat rode high with the jetty and within 2 hours had dropped 6 feet below so I had to work from memory and the early placement of the shadows. Dana the owner of the Lobster Pound in Birch Harbor said he gave the boat to his son. 7 generations have lived in this cove in Maine . I spent two days here observing the comings and goings of the fishermen and women dropping off their daily catches and completing 5 paintings
