Pastel is certainly my passion! My husband & I planned a trip to The Great Smoky Mountains prior to knowing Hurricane Ian would wreak havoc here in Southwest FL. While there, we happened to catch the first inaugural “Plein Air in the Smokies”. What an enlightening experience! The winding roads and spectacular color vibrations inspired me to paint this scene.
