Flaming Proteas

Proteas are in my blood after growing up in South Africa. Protea plants need fire to release their seeds and reproduce. This remarkable trait encourages me to endure despite many trials. Painted in acrylic on 2nd hand canvasses I buy from thrift stores to save money. Painting is oxygen in my life.
