Captivated by the “burning” sunset sky on this Mennonite farm that is a few miles from my home - I knew I had to paint it. Unfortunately, I was unable to do this via plein-air. I painted this in oil on a small aluminum panel more as a precursor to a larger painting. But, when I done I was pleased with its outcome.
