Coming Home was painted at my solo show entitled "Stillness" at the Johnson County Center for the Arts. The painting was from a photo that I took while traveling "down Laurel" a country road in our county. The painting was done in honor and as a gift for a six year old girl named Ruby who was coming home from the hospital after a life threatening event. The painting was a blessing to me.
