Se Préparer

This is an original studio oil painting inspired by my many trips to Paris where I've done countless plein air sketches of this magical scene. Paris is a dear place I spend a lot of my time. I am continuously inspired by the rich architecture and culture of the city. This particular scene was the first light of early morning. The lights in people's windows began to turn on as they started their morning rituals that prepared them for the day. The title is French, meaning to get oneself ready.
