Sunwapta Falls

This painting is from a photo I took at Jasper National Park, Alberta, Canada. I was amazed at how the river created an island of its own before plunging through huge boulders. The water is filled with glacial silt, causing it to reflect the most beautiful tropical-like colors. The perspective; looking down from a higher bridge, was challenging but I enjoyed it!
