This is another image from my travels during the summer of 2022. As I crisscross the western US, traveling through the Lake Tahoe area is always a favorite. Everything burst into a collage of dark colors just as the sun had set. I knew I couldn’t get my paints out quick enough so I captured the moment with photos and sketches to guide me when I returned to my studio.
