5am leaving for Boston, I noticed this beautiful moonlit site in my side yard. I assessed the light and captured an image. Snow had just stopped falling, it was so peaceful and dark but brilliantly lit by the moon. The sky was just starting to brighten. I thought about the image during my ride and how I needed to paint it when I returned. So I did.
